Sarah has been practicing orthopedic physical therapy since 2009 after graduating from Regis University with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT). Her approach is a mix of hands on manual therapy and exercise to help her clients reach their goals. She believes in customizing each treatment to the patient and motivating them to fully participate in their care. Sarah’s areas of interest include sports medicine, post-surgical rehabilitation, general orthopedics and MVA injuries. She has taken advanced coursework in North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy as well as in The Thoracic Ring Approach. Sarah is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and Physical Therapy Association of Washington and Seattle Pediatric Sports Medicine group.
In her free time Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband, Adam and their daughter, Mckenzie. Sarah also enjoys many outdoor activities, including hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter. She is an avid figure skater and competes regionally and nationally every year as a member of the Washington Ice Emeralds adult synchronized skating team.
As a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, Jennifer has extensive outpatient rehabilitation experience with individuals of all ages and with varying degrees of injury complexity. She has worked with athletes at all levels, to include youth developmental team members for US Track and Field, high school and NCAA athletes, and those at the professional level within the NFL, NBA, and MLB. Additionally, Jennifer has worked to provide on-site coverage for professional dancers and vocalists traveling with off-Broadway productions. She is a musculoskeletal consultant for firefighter fitness exams in the Seattle area. Jennifer holds a personal interest in bio-mechanical running assessment and post-surgical rehabilitation. She is a member of the Seattle Pediatric Sports Medicine group, working with local physicians, surgeons, athletic trainers, coaches, and physical therapists to develop an ACL Prevention Program for youth athletes. She enjoys contributing to the profession by serving as an item writer for the National Physical Therapy Exam, and has spent much of her time working with local agencies to support fund-raising efforts for disabled youth and local foster children.
Gary brings 17 years of structural bodywork experience and a passion for helping clients develop balance by addressing the physical, mental, and emotional aspects of life. As a licensed massage therapist, with special expertise in Soma Neuromuscular Integration® Massage & Fascial Stretch therapy, Gary works with clients to improve the balance in their lives through movement, breath, freedom, calmness, and serenity.
As a licensed massage therapist, Jacquie brings years of experience to her treatment sessions through having both given and received thousands of hours of bodywork. Her passion and expertise lie in working with the fascia in our bodies to better help people move through their lives with greater freedom and joy. She loves being part of people's commitment to health and wellbeing. A native of the east coast, Jacquie moved to Seattle in 2008 and enrolled in and graduated from Cortiva Institute's advanced program in massage therapy. During her career she has continued studying with some of the most successful bodyworkers in Seattle's massage therapist community.
Brook comes to 5focus with over 10 years of experience in the wellness world. She holds a degree in Psychology with a health focus from Bastyr University, completed a 1000+ hour massage training course with Brenneke School of Massage and most recently, completed health coaching training through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
The focus of her bodywork is to help clients feel more at home and happy in their physical bodies. This can mean reducing tension or pain - but it can also mean allowing you to become more self-aware, calm and centered through touch. She always says that treatment and relaxation work are not mutually exclusive! She strives to create an open, caring space for connection and healing to take place. She believes that you are your own best healer and her role is to help facilitate the shifts that help you live your best life.
